2026 Camp Counselor Application - Due November 14, 2025
2026 4-H Camp Counselor Training Dates
(We are more than happy to work with your teen's schedule in completing required hours - we know they are super busy!)
1. All Applicants must complete the Camp Counselor Application found above and submit it to the Extension Office via drop off, email, or dropbox outside of the building.
2. The applicants must be a current high schooler in grades freshmen through senior. Current eight graders are not to apply until their freshman year of high school. They will be last year campers at the 2026 Williams Co. 4-H Camp. We will have a Counselor In Training (CIT) option for them. The CIT option sign ups will be a part of the Williams County 4-H Camp Registrations.
3. First-time counselor applicants will schedule an interview during the dates listed on the application. Interview times are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please call our office as soon as possible to schedule your interview.
4. First-time applicants must have two recommendations with their application. It is preferred that one recommendation is from their 4-H Advisor. The 4-H Educator may request references from returning applicants. References are due to the Extension Office by November 14, 2025.

Regional 4-H Camp Counselor Training at Camp Palmer - MANDATORY
Friday, February 27 - Saturday, February 28, 2026
This training is mandatory for counselors to attend. The Williams County 4-H Endowment Committee will cover the cost of the registration fee for all counselors. Please register by Friday, February 13th.
