Agriculture is still a very important industry in Williams County.

We have over 46,000 acres into corn with an acre yield of 128 bushes per acre giving us close to 6 million bushels.

Soybeans are our biggest crop with over 76,000 acres into production with an average yield of 30 plus bushels per acre.

We have over 21,000 acres into wheat production with an average yield of 68 bushels.

And finally, we have over 6,000 acres into hay production yielding approximately 3 tons per acre.

Livestock numbers for cattle and calves is approximately 16,000 head and hog numbers at 19,000 head.

There are 950 farms with a total of 214,000 acres into farming.
