  4. Master Gardeners to host holiday arrangement class

    The Williams County Master Gardeners will host a “Holiday Arrangement Class” on Thursday, December 2.  The class will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Gillette Building on the Williams County Fairgrounds.

  5. Jr. Fair DUNF Online Requirement

    Completing the Drug Use Notification Form has been moved online this year and you can begin completing this form! It can be filled out easily using your mobile device or tablet. Because of the signatures that are required at the bottom of both youth and parent/guardian, it will likely be easier than using a mouse on a desktop computer/laptop. Below is the information that you’ll need to know in order to get this completed. Please have all your forms completed BEFORE you arrive at the fairgrounds on Weigh-In Day (September 10) to ensure a smooth weigh-in process.

    Williams County youth in Kindergarten through Second Grade for the 2021-2022 school year are invited to share their talent in the 2021 Barnyard Friends Coloring Contest, sponsored by Ohio State University Extension Williams County and the Williams County Fair.

  7. Register for Women's Tractor Safety and Operation Program

    Join OSU Extension Williams County and Kenn-Feld Group and learn how to safely operate agricultural equipment in a fun, relaxed environment. Space is limited and registration is required by August 23 at 419-636-5608 or go.osu.edu/WmsCoTractorSafety. Cost is $10 either cash or check payable to OSU Extension Williams County.

  8. Options for 2021 Private Pesticide and Fertilizer Recertification

    Private Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicators whose license were set to expire in March 2020 or 2021 now have until July 1, 2021 to renew and recertify. Commercial Pesticide Applicators expiring in 2020 now have until July 1, 2021 to renew and recertify. Please see below for the current recertification options:1.   9. Live-streaming of 2020 Williams County Jr. Fair Livestock Shows

    The Livestock shows will be live-streamed with the YouTube links posted below. These links will also be shared on the Williams County Fair and Williams County 4-H Facebook pages. We are seeking to raise at least $3,500 to help cover the cost of the live-streaming of the shows. If you would like to donate, or know of a business or individual who would like to help, please send all contributions to the Williams County Ag. Society at 619 East Main Street Montpelier, OH 43543.
  10. Share your Talent in the 2020 Barnyard Friends Drawing Contest

    Williams County youth in Kindergarten through Second Grade for the 2020-21 school year are invited to share their talent in the 2020 Barnyard Friends Drawing Contest, sponsored by Ohio State University Extension Williams County and the Williams County Fair.

    Drawings must be hand-drawn on an 8.5 x 11” sheet of paper and be farming-related. Be sure to include name, school, and grade on the back of the artwork. Participants may use paints, markers, crayons, or color pencils. Only one entry per student please.
