  2. Basics of Grain Marketing Workshop

    Registration is now live for the Basics of Grain Marketing Workshop (in-person) on February 8 & 9, 2024, in Marysville, OH. This workshop is sponsored by grower checkoff funds supported by the Ohio Soybean Council and Ohio Corn & Wheat via the OSUE Farm Financial Management & Policy Institute (FFMPI). Space is limited to 35, and costs $100 per person. Teaching team: Seungki Lee, OSU; Grant Gardner, Univ of Kentucky; Ben Brown, Univ of Missouri.   7. ODA State Pesticide Testing

    OSU Extension Defiance County will again be a host site for those interested in taking initial pesticide license tests or adding categories (commercial or private).   10. CLM Webinar Series: Biosecurity Measures: Rodent Control and Animal Mortalities

    The OSU Extension Water Quality Team is working with the Ohio Department of Agriculture to kick off a bi-monthly, year-round webinar series. These webinars will specifically target topics related to our Certified Livestock Managers, but everyone is welcome. Each webinar will provide 1.5 CLM continuing education credits as well as 1.5 credit hours for CCAs. We hope these webinars will offer useful information and create a space for communication between all parties involved.
