Join the OSU Extension Water Quality Team for their second annual conservation-focused field day! This year’s topic is all about cover crops and their benefits to soil health, water quality, and farm economics. Speakers from The Ohio State University and Michigan State University will share research and information at this field day sponsored by The Nature Conservancy and Cargill. The Ohio Agritourism Conference and OPGMA Summer Tour are joining forces to minimize the time spent away from your farm while maximizing your learning opportunities. You will learn about customer engagement and interactions from all touchpoints, help with making sure your brand resonates with customers, and more! Tour Hillcrest Orchard and learn about trellis peaches and new peach thinner, hedging do’s and don’ts, rootstock, and trellis in the orchard. Cost: $40 per session or $60 for both!

Putnam Soil and Water Conservation District is proud to announce a Tri-State Manure Field Day, taking place July 11th, 2024 at GreenTop Acres, LLC in Paulding County. The premise of the field day is to connect livestock producers, manure applicators and agricultural professionals together. This field day will foster an opportunity for the attendees to develop personal and professional connections within the agricultural community to further strengthen their network. Registration will begin at 8 am, the field day will start at 8:30 am. Lunch will be included.
