2024 4-H Camp - June 2-5 at 4-H Camp Palmer


About 4-H Camp:

4-H Camp Palmer serves 11 counties, who make the best better at their 4-H Camp each summer. During their time here, the campers, ages 8 through 13 (as of Jan 1 of the current year), LEARN with sessions in canoeing, archery, line dancing, outdoor cooking plus dozens others. Campers HAVE FUN swimming, zip lining, singing and laughing at campfire and throughout the day. Plus, at 4-H Camp Palmer, campers MAKE FRIENDS that last a life time.

Youth do not have to be enrolled in 4-H to attend 4-H Camp. This is an overnight camp.

2024 Williams County 4-H Camp Registration Form

Cost for 4-H Members: $180.00. Cash or check will be accepted. Make checks payable to OSU Extension Williams County. Camp Registrations will be due Friday, May 17th to the Extension Office. 

Cost for Non 4-H Members: $190.00. Cash or check is accpeted. Make checks payable to OSU Extension Williams County. Camperships are not applicable for non 4-H members. However the Early Bird discount is permitted if registration and payment are made by May 6, 2024.

Early Bird Discount - due May 6, 2024

Complete and submit your 4-H Camp Registration Form by May 6, 2024 to receive $10.00 off your camp fee. This early bird discount can be combined with a 4-H Campership Award. Payment is due with your registration form. Credit cards cannot be accepted.

The Extension Office will not be accepting registration forms without receiving payment at the same time. All registrations and payments must be received by Friday May 17, 2024. The adress of the Extension Office is 1425 E High Street, Bryan, OH 43506. Checks payable to: OSU Extension--Williams County.

*There is now a Dropbox located outside the Extension Office for you to drop-off registration packets and payment. You will be contacted to confirm receipt.

  • Camp activity sessions each day:  One 2-hour session followed by two different 1-hour sessions 
  • Shooting Sports Consent Form (is required for all campers, as there will be an Air Pistol/Archery session offered)
  • Health Form (REQUIRED: PHOTOGRAPH FOR IDENTIFICATION NEEDED BY NURSING STAFF)
  • Consent for Emergencies, photos 
  • Consent for someone other than family to pick up child, late arrival and early release, homesickness release
  • Medication Dispensing Request Form:  Medicine must be taken to Camp Palmer and turned in at registration desk when bringing child to camp.  Medicine must be in original container and placed inside a baggie with Medication Dispensing Request Form with childs name on outside. The Camp Nurse will be responsible for all medications and dispensing as instructed.

CLOVERBUD ONE-DAY CAMP REGISTRATION

2024 Cloverbud Day Camp Registration Form

Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 4-H Camp Palmer, Fayette, Ohio from 1:30 PM until approximately 8:15 PM. Parents are invited to attend the final campfire starting at 7:00 PM.

The Cloverbud one-day camp is for youth in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  You do not have to be a 4-H Cloverbud member to participate. Cost of camp is $30.00 for 4-H Cloverbuds and $35.00 for non-4-H Cloverbuds.  Payment in cash or check is accepted.

  • All registrations and payments must be received at the Extension Office by Friday, May 17, 2024. Registration materials should be returned to the Ohio State Extension, Williams County Office (1425 E High Street, Suite 112, Bryan, OH 43506). Cash or check is accepted. Make checks payable to OSU Extension--Williams County.
  • Materials that need Submitted by the deadline: Cloverbud Camp Registration Form, Health Form (REQUIRED to attach a photo to Health Form), and Payment.

2024 4-H Camp Campership Recipients

Camperships have been awarded.  Check this list to find your name and the name of your sponsor.  Bring a Thank You card with you when you come to the office to register for camp. A blank Thank You card will be acceptable with a handwritten note of thanks inside to show your appreciation to the sponsor.


Financial Aid Available:

There are opportunities for financial aid to be awarded to 4-H members to assist with the camp payment cost. 

Early Bird Discount - due May 6, 2024

Complete and submit your 4-H Camp Application by May 6, 2024 to receive $10.00 off your camp fee. This early bird discount can be combined with a 4-H Campership Award. 

Family/Sibling Discount -  Is for families who have multiple siblings attending camp. Families will receive an one time $10.00 discount for additionals siblings who register for camp.  Example: The first child registered does not receive the discount, but the additional siblings receive a $10.00 family discount. Registrations and payment must be made at the same time.

Friends Discount - For members who recruit non-4-H members to attend Williams County 4-H Camp will receive a $10.00 discount towards their own camp fee. The non-4-H members pay full price. In order to receive the friends discount, the friends application needs to be turned in prior to yours. 

Camperships - Camperships are discounts offered to 4-H members attending Williams County 4-H Camp. A huge thank you to generous sponsors, which include: local businesses, fair commodity groups, 4-H Council, and Endowment Committee. 

To apply for a campership, fill out the campership application. Please submit your application prior to April 26, 2024 to be considered.
