Youth attend 4-H Teen Conference
“Keeping It Green” was the theme of the 2009 4-H Teen Conference that was held in February, at the Columbus Convention Center.
The conference was designed for older youth (ages 13 and up) members of Ohio’s 4-H Youth Development Program and will feature more than 50 fun and educational sessions, a special speaker, a display center and a luncheon.
Teen 4-Hers from all across the state meet and share ideas throughout the day’s events. Williams County 4-H had six participate. Those sponsored by the 4-H Advisory Council to participate were Chelsie Dunson, daughter of Scott and Carrie Dunson of West Unity; Rebecca Fisk daughter of John and Dawn Fisk of Edon: Amanda Haines daughter of Paul and Melanie Haines of Montpelier; Erin Hausch, daughter of Mark and Julie Hausch of West Unity; Lane Knapp, son of Connie Knapp of Bryan and Abby Sloan, daughter of Scott and April Sloan of Stryker.
